Biography

I completed my BSc (Dual Hon) in Neuroscience and Psychology at Keele in 2018. During this time my research focused on Psychophysiological Responses to Tactile Stimulation in Children with Autism (Psych) and The Neuroprotective Roles of Polyunsaturated-Fatty-Acids in Neurodegeneration: An In-Vitro Study (Neuro).

After a short break from academia, I returned to Keele to completed my MSc in Cognition and Cognitive Neuroscience in 2021, with research focusing on Investigating the Discrete Stages of Amodal Visual Completion using Multivariate Decoding of Human Electroencephalogram Recordings.

Returning to Keele again, as of 2023 I am working towards completing a PhD focusing on the role of impulsivity in various behaviours, exploring how it intersects with ADHD and potential vulnerabilities in areas such as gambling.

Research and scholarship

My research is primarily quantitative and involves designing and implementing visual and behavioural experiments using programs such as PsychoPy. My typical data collection involves measurements such as EEG, reaction times, and error rates. I analyse these datasets using R for statistical modelling and MATLAB for specialised EEG analysis.
