Theme 1: People – ‘Many Voices, One Community’
Celebrate the individuals who make Keele a global family. This theme invites you to capture the friendships, traditions, and everyday interactions that reflect the diverse people shaping our university. Whether through shared meals, classroom conversations, or cultural celebrations, show how international perspectives enrich our human connections.
Theme 2: Places – ‘Worlds Within Keele’
Explore the spaces where global experiences come to life. From lecture halls and cafés to quiet corners and vibrant events, this theme invites you to showcase how Keele’s campus becomes a crossroads of cultures. Highlight the places that facilitate learning, belonging, and exchange—where the world meets, right here at Keele.
Theme 3: ‘Beyond Borders’
This category celebrates the experiences of Keele students studying overseas or on Transnational Education programmes. We’d love to see moments that capture your Keele life abroad or at your TNE location. Show us how studying internationally or through a TNE partnership has shaped your perspective and enriched your journey as a Keele student. Share what makes your Keele experience unique, wherever you are in the world.

Keele’s Community
Liam Salmon, The beauty of playing and representing Keele.
The image showcases how being a part of a team is being involved in a community that is all focused on an agreed goal. To come together and support each other to find victory.
Keele’s Campus
Valentino Serpe, Snow Day.
Thought it was a pretty aesthetically pleasing picture of Keele Hall.
Keele’s Global Reach
Franco Escobar, Asaminami Squirrel.
Asaminami-ku is not just one of eight wards Hiroshima City, Japan, but also the place Squirrel now calls home. The area is prone to landslides and centipedes in the rainy season, and is overall likely to experience earthquakes, typhoons, and beautiful rice fields. After three months of fieldwork during the hot summer of 2024, Squirrel decided to stay in Japan indefinitely and I have now returned home in the UK.
Keele’s International Perspective
Michelle Adetunji, Kowloon Tong.
I'm currently on an international year at one of Keele's partner universities, Hong Kong Baptist University. This is a photo of the wonderful view of Kowloon Tong on the roof of the Communication & Technology Building, taken with a Samsung S21 smartphone. I'm grateful for the opportunity to experience a new culture as part of my studies, and I'm looking forward to more adventures in the semester to come!
The Local Area
Weronika Dziadura, Fluckie the Squirrel.
My friend Fluckie the Squirrel from Hanley Park. The park is a hidden gem in a busy city, there is never a day where something amazing doesn't happen. The park serves as a reminder to slow down and take in the present moment, no matter the weather.
