Biography
I have been teaching English as a foreign and second language since April 2001. My initial teaching post was in Thailand, where I was the head teacher for three years. I returned to the UK in 2005 and continued to teach and develop as a teacher until June 2007 when I moved to Switzerland and taught for another four years. In June 2011 I returned to the UK to undertake a taught MA TESOL on a full time basis at University of St Mark and St John. I have extensive experience of teaching a wide variety of all ages. Throughout my teaching career I have taught in tertiary, primary and secondary education. I also have extensive experience of teaching in private language schools and of the Cambridge upper and lower exam preparation suite including IELTS. I have previously taught academic English for Coventry University, De Montfort University and Cardiff University. I enjoy reading, languages and exploring other countries and cultures.
