Biography
I started working for Keele’s partnership programme with Beijing Foreign Studies University in September 2019. Before this I undertook a PhD in Organisational Knowledge Management at Leeds Beckett University, while also lecturing in the UK Centre for Events Management. This followed fifteen years working in management and training positions for multinational organisations in both the UK and Asia.
Research and scholarship
My PhD research involved an investigation into the processes of absorptive capacity of event organisations. From this research, additional work and papers are being developed on knowledge sharing routines and the role of citizenship behaviour in building social capital. These reflect a wider interest in knowledge management and innovation.
Teaching
Academic year 2019-20 I teach Business and Management at Level 3 and Global Business Environments at Level 4.
