Posted on 06 July 2017 Keele University has donated 2.5 tonnes of food to Newcastle-Staffs Food Bank through Keele Green Move Out 2017, whilst student volunteers collected kitchen and household items to reduce waste and enable reuse by new students.
One of three new Nissan e-NV 200 electric vans that are part of Keele University's new electric vehicle fleet used by Estates and Development. The electric vehicles replace old diesel Ford Transit vans.

Posted on 22 May 2017 Keele University has replaced 3 old diesel vans with Nissan e-NV 200 electric vans, making Keele's campus vehicle fleet more than 20% electric.
 

Computing students create green app

Posted on 02 May 2017 MSc Computing students created an app to monitor activities in the Sustainable Student Bungalow. The app will enable students to track activities such as waste production and management of crops in raised beds.
