Keele offers first ever January start date for Foundation Year courses
Prospective students looking to broaden their horizons in 2021 can take advantage of a new January intake for Keele’s Foundation Year courses for the very first time.
In addition to the usual January start dates for some Keele postgraduate courses, Keele University is now offering a January start date on Foundation Year courses, ideal for those looking for a different route into Higher Education.
Foundation Years offer an alternative route to a high-quality education at Keele, and are an ideal way into university for those who might be applying for university from a non-traditional route.
Foundation Year courses are particularly suited for those who are re-entering education after a break, those who are looking for a change of career or to study a brand new subject, or mature students looking to enter higher education.
Upon successful completion of a Foundation Year, students will progress onto their chosen single or combined honours degree the following September, with the new January 2021 intake offering applicants the chance to pursue studies across all science, humanities, social sciences and business routes.
Consistently ranked among the top universities for student satisfaction, we have over 70 years’ experience of teaching a foundation year to students. Keele Foundation Year students are welcomed as part of the Keele community from the outset, and often outperform their classmates with many going on to gain a first class or upper second-class honours degree.
More postgraduate courses than ever before have now also been added to the January start date roster, with courses in subjects like Environmental Science, Politics, and Physiotherapy now offering an opportunity to start in January 2021.
Robbie Pickles, Director of Global Student Recruitment and Admissions at Keele University said: "This new entry route is a natural extension of Keele's proud tradition of flexibly supporting prospective students to progress into higher education. Its creation is a positive reflection of the dedication shown by staff to ensure as many people as possible, in a challenging year globally, can benefit from the opportunities Keele provides. Its value has been clearly reflected in the interest shown so far and we're looking forward to welcoming a new cohort of students to our community in January."
