Flowers & Meaning; A Mixed Media Workshop

Flowers & Meaning: A Mixed Media Workshop
Part of Charne’s exhibition: Am I Too Young For An Existential Crisis?
Monday 13 April
Chapters Café, 5.30–7pm

Join us for a creative early‑evening workshop and artist meet‑and‑greet as we celebrate Charne’s exhibition 'Am I Too Young For An Existential Crisis?'

Visitors are invited to explore the show, chat with the artist, and take part in a hands‑on activity inspired by Charne’s themes and the arrival of spring.

Workshop:
In this mixed media session, we’ll explore flowers as images loaded with meaning—symbols of emotion, memory, and transformation.

After a short introduction, participants will:
•     Draw and paint flowers using acrylics, oil pastels, and charcoal
•     Work from fresh flowers or invent their own botanical forms
•     Add words or text to their artwork if they wish

The workshop connects directly to Charne’s current exhibition, offering a playful and reflective space to experiment with image‑making.
All materials are provided, and all experience levels are welcome.
