Lantern Making for Festival of Lights
Lantern Making Workshop for the Festival of Light.
Join a hands-on lantern making workshop in preparation for the University’s Festival of Light, taking place on 20th October as part of the Diversity Festival and in celebration of Diwali. The workshop will be led by B-Arts, the creative team behind the Newcastle-under-Lyme Lantern Parade, this drop-in session offers a chance to learn how to craft your own beautiful willow and tissue paper lantern.

All lanterns will be kept to dry and ready for collection on the evening of the Lantern Walk, which will light up the campus at 7pm on 20th October. Meeting at the Forest of Light on Union Square for a short illuminated walk on campus.
