Administrative Support Staff

Administrative support staff working in the Law Office are there to help with students’ general enquiries around their course. The Office provides a variety of administrative services to students in Law as well as to our academic colleagues. If the Office staff cannot help, then they will endeavour to direct you on to a member of staff or relevant Department or Service within the University which can. You are welcome to visit the Office in person or contact the staff by email or telephone.

Who to Contact in the Law Office

All initial enquiries - email the Law Office on law.office@keele.ac.uk.

The main Law Office is located at the entrance to the School of Law in on the first floor, of the C wing in the Chancellors Building. The Law Office opening hours are Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5:00pm.

An answering machine operates outside of normal working hours/weekends. Please bear these times in mind when submitting essays or other assessed work, which must be handed in to the Law Office unless otherwise specified. There may be times throughout the year when the office may be required to close during normal opening hours.  We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and will ensure that a notice is posted on the Office door as far in advance as possible.

As a student in Law, you should familiarise yourself with the School of Law itself, ensuring that you locate and check regularly your relevant year pigeon hole and notice board. A number of other notice boards which you should also find useful are located in the School and updated regularly, such as the Careers Board.

Please ensure that you:

  • check your Keele email account regularly as this provides the School with one of the main means of contacting you over a variety of urgent or interesting academic, pastoral and administrative matters; and
  • update your contact details through eVision should they change.

In addition to the information provided on notice boards and in correspondence, a dedicated team of support staff are on hand to advise students and to ensure the smooth administration of the School of Law at Keele. Our support staff work as a team but also have their own general areas of responsibility.
