Biography

Angelica joined Keele University as a Lecturer in Law in 2023, having previously held Lecturer in Law positions at Liverpool Hope University and the University of Huddersfield. She completed her PhD research in International Economic Law (trade & energy), funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC). She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and a member of the Brazilian Bar Association (qualified lawyer).

Research and scholarship

Angelica’s research is interdisciplinary in nature. It lies at the intersection of international trade law, environmental law and business and human rights, focusing on the legal challenges with the commercialisation of emerging clean energy technologies and climate change.
