Residence Life Managers

Our role is to support students who live in Halls of Residence, ensuring there is a sense of community so that students can relax, have fun and feel connected, settled and safe and secure. We want to ensure that your wellbeing is a key priority, as well as delivering campaigns and activities important to student life. We work closely with the Resident Advisers - who are a team of students on call to support you on evenings and during the night.

Student Discipline

The student discipline team work together to develop a safe and inclusive student community, responding to incidents that are reported to us. We work across all aspect of student life and across the whole University community.

I am Neil, and I am the Student Discipline Coordinator working with my colleagues in the Student Discipline Team and the Residence Life Team.

Away from work I enjoy holidays, sport and family life.

I am Ceri, and I am a Student Discipline Officer working with my colleagues in the Student Discipline Team and the Residence Life Team.

Away from work I enjoy walking, cooking, reading, binge watching Netflix and Prime and spending time with family and friends.

Hi! My name is Kelly and I work on the University response to sexual violence and misconduct... I know! Heavy topic, right? But it is all part of helping students to feel safe in our Keele community and live their best uni lives! I studied for my degree, masters, and PhD at Keele, so it's definitely more like a second home to me now. Originally from the Isle of Man, in my spare time, I play badminton (in non-covid times), read Harry Potter, watch The West Wing, enjoy stand-up and comedy quiz shows.

Active Wellbeing Officer

Anne Piper

Hi, I'm Anne, I'm the Active Wellbeing Officer from the Start to Success project.

My role involves promoting and supporting students to be more physically active through reducing prolonged sitting, social sports, and exercise. I will be working with the Residence Life team on active wellbeing related events and campaigns. Secondly, I will support the team to embed Start to Success project initiatives into Residence Life so students will continue to benefit past the project.

You can find more about my work on the Start to Success website.
