Biography
I graduated in 2001 with a BA (Hons) 2:1 in Humanities from Nottingham Trent University, and after completing a PGCE at The University of Wales, Swansea, I taught English Language and English Literature in a secondary school for fifteen years. There, I had various teaching and management roles as well as plenty of experience teaching and leading sixth form students. I started working full-time at Keele in January 2016. I teach three literature modules: Understanding Narrative, Understanding Poetry and An Introduction to American Literature. I am an Academic Mentor and I also teach the Academic Development module.
