Biography
Christopher Mountford holds a Bachelors Degree in Philosophy and a Masters Degree both from Keele University. A former student of the Foundation Year he now works in the Foundation Year department as a tutor and academic mentor. Chris is currently training to become a philosophical counsellor.
Research and scholarship
Chris' main area of research are philosophy of mind, Stoicism and philosophical counselling.
Teaching
Chris helps to teach Foundations of Humanities 2 and Introduction to Philosophy on the Foundation Year and is generally the resident philosophical advisor for any staff or student who require help regarding academic philosophy.

Chris was nominated for the post graduate of the year award in 2023, was the president of philosophy society for 3 semesters and has been published in the KOSAK research centre.
