Keele Day Nursery is set in the University's 650 acres of landscaped gardens and offers 136 places for children aged 12 weeks to 5 years within a safe and stimulating environment for your child to grow and develop.
The Nursery has eight rooms, which allows us to split the children into appropriate age groups and offer extensive play facilities, both inside and out, where the children enjoy many varied activities.
Keele Day Nursery is one which combines the qualities of a happy atmosphere and a stimulating environment. We believe that our Nursery will help your child to develop confidence, enabling them to learn skills in socialising and relating to other children and adults.
The Day nursery is registered with OFSTED (Office for Standards in Education) and meets the requirements of the Environmental Health and Fire Departments. You can read our Ofsted Report by following this link to the Ofsted Website
The regulations are stringent, thus ensuring high standards of care, safety and hygiene.
The childcare service is accredited with the ISO9001:2000 quality standard and the Investor in People award.
The childcare staff are professionally qualified and experienced in working with children. All staff are checked by Criminal Records Bureau (CRB), before being allowed to work with children.
The day nursery is used as a teaching establishment for nursery nurse students, nursing and midwifery students and work experience students from local schools.
Students are never left unattended with children.
