TV Licensing
If you watch or record live television as it is broadcast or use BBC iPlayer in any way, you will need a TV license.
You will a TV license regardless of which kind of device you use to watch or record live television programming. You will also need a licence download or watch BBC programmes on iPlayer – live, catch up or on demand. Check out visit the TV Licensing website for more information. If you use a TV without a licence you could be given a fine of up to £1000.
Please note that not all rooms have TV aerial points and that reception in some halls of residence can be poor.
