Summary

The Psychological Research Centre is a thriving academic community made up of active researchers in a wide variety of areas. Research in the centre is internationally recognised and has a significant impact through benefits to society.

There are four research groups: Cognitive, brain and behaviour research; Health, well-being and behaviour change; Identities, values and social change; and Justice, security and institutional change. Cutting across these research groups are the Children and Young People’s Research Network and the Qualitative Research Forum. All staff and postgraduate students belong to one or more of these groupings, and research that crosses thematic boundaries is also encouraged.
