Becoming Well Read

Academic Reading Symposium

Keele Institute for Innovation and Teaching Excellence are delighted to announce the details of the Becoming Well Read Academic Reading Symposium.

Becoming Well Read will be a practice-focused day bringing together expertise from a range of communities to explore academic reading practices, reflect on the challenges of teaching reading for academic purposes, and share interesting and innovative methods.

The event will open with a keynote from Jeanne Godfrey, whose book How to Use Your Reading in Your Essays, has recently been rewarded with a third edition.

The day is sure to be valuable to anyone whose central focus is educational, learning or academic development, and to teaching staff who are looking for new ways of supporting their students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
