Humanities and Social Sciences Research is a thriving academic community made up of active researchers in a wide variety of areas.
We welcome postgraduate research students from around the world as members of this community and provide support and facilities to enable them to achieve their full potential in a stimulating and lively environment.
We pride ourselves on the high standard of facilities we are able to offer our postgraduates including well equipped office space, postgraduate seminars, an annual postgraduate conference, social events and a weekly “reflections” group where postgraduate issues can be explored in an informal atmosphere.
The inter-disciplinary nature of the Faculty provides excellent opportunities for networking both with other postgraduates and with the academic staff at Keele, thus enabling postgraduate researchers to participate fully in all aspects of the research process.
Research students are an invaluable component of the community at Keele, and we aim to provide an environment where your research can develop and flourish.
We offer PhDs and MPhils in the following subject areas; follow the links for more information and on-line application.
We also offer the following Professional Doctorates Programmes; follow the links for more information and on-line application:
