Biography

I graduated with a masters degree in physics from the University of Hertfordshire in 2016 and continued to attain a PhD from Cranfield University in 2021. The PhD was awarded for work on wall material characterization using a through-wall radar system and measurements gathered over several measurement modalities. After finishing the PhD I took a short break before starting work as a postdoc at Keele later in 2021.

Research and scholarship

My research interests revolve around electromagnetic sensing and signal processing for the detection and identification of hidden objects and material characterization. During my PhD this focused on experimental procedures, however since moving to Keele I now focus primarily on computational electromagnetism using (hp) finite element methods and machine learning for metal detection problems.
