Dhanesh Mahmood, MPharm Graduate
My name is Dhanesh and I graduated at Keele with a Masters in Pharmacy and I’m now working as a trainee pharmacist at Boots. I chose Keele University because I fell in love with the campus when I came for the Open Day. I really felt the warmth and approachableness of all the staff. There is a real sense of community at Keele, they treat you as an individual.
The pharmacy course here is different, really innovative with great use of technology such as 3D cinema and augmented reality. I was sent on placement to a range of community pharmacies and clinical placements in local hospitals. I was well supported by the placement team and the tutors themselves. It instilled a sense of confidence in me, putting my theory into practice, interacting with patients and dealing with real-world situations.
