Teaching and training

We have developed successful courses in prognosis research and evidence synthesis of individual patient data, and are currently developing a new training course in statistical methods for developing, validating and updating prognostic models.

Our courses are offered to the wider national and international research community, including clinicians, healthcare researchers, statisticians, epidemiologists, and systematic reviewers.

We also provide in-house training in methodology research, through supervision of methodological PhD and MPhil projects, but also through an internal and external methodology seminar series, and by organising one-day courses in specialised statistical methods.

Leads: Professor Richard Riley, Professor Danielle van der Windt
