If you wish to promote a current graduate vacancy, work placement or funded postgraduate opportunity on our database there are two options.

Option 1:

You can add the vacancy yourself by setting up an Employer account at the following link:
employers.careerhub.keele.ac.uk

Once your account has been set up, you can add your own vacancies, providing the information requested. These will then be reviewed and published. If further information is required, or we need clarification or changes to be made we will contact you.

This is the fastest option. It is also preferable for you, as you have control over your own vacancies; i.e if you need to make changes or readvertise you don't need to email us each time, and these changes will take place much faster.

Option 2:

Email careers@keele.ac.uk, providing ALL of the following information:

  • Job title
  • Job description
  • Person requirements / qualification requirements
  • Application method - this must include an email address or direct web-link (we are unable to distribute application forms to interested parties)
  • Location(s)
  • Closing date or date to advertise until (exact date please)
  • Please indicate how much the role is paid - we do not ordinarily accept vacancies without this information. If "competitive" is used, employers will be asked to complete this information before the vacancy goes live on our system.
  • Contract type: Permanent/Temporary
  • Contract hours: Full time, part time, or casual

If you have not advertised through us before, we will set up a Company Profile first. For this we require:

  • Company information
  • Head Office address
  • Size of organisation
  • Website address
  • Telephone number
  • Email address

Please provide the information in a format that can be copied and pasted into the database (MS Word is ideal).
Please do not include tables in your document.

If you are sending several different vacancies in one document, please ensure that the details for each vacancy can be copied in one action with all required information included.

Both options are free of charge. Option two has additional pricing options if you are advertising a vacancy for longer than 4 weeks.

Whichever option you choose, please ensure that you view our vacancy advertising policy BEFORE submitting an advert - if a job does not meet the policy criteria we will ask you to amend it before it can be advertised.

This is an advertising service only: we are unable to select students, email specific students or accept applications on behalf of an employer.

If you are a recruitment agency, please read this page before submitting your advert: we cannot accept vacancies if the employer is not disclosed to us.

If you have any further queries, email careers@keele.ac.uk or call 01782 733523.

We promote such vacancies through the Finding Work page, in our Careers Centre, on social media and in newsletters, and if appropriate, to relevant academic departments.

We are also happy to arrange for employers to give presentations to interested students about relevant opportunities with their organisation, and can provide interview facilities and other services to employers wishing to interview on campus. Please contact us on 01782 733023 or email careers@keele.ac.uk.

If you are interested in attending our Careers Fair please email us with details of your company to be kept in the loop.

Casual work

For local casual work (part-time/temporary) please be sure to select the correct option on the relevant section of the CareerHub system.

Our aim is to prepare Keele students for employment. We work with them to help them develop their career ideas and to make effective applications and to succeed at interview. We also work with employers to help them connect with our students in a variety of ways:

Presentations

Each year organisations visit Keele to introduce themselves to Keele students, talk about their opportunities and promote their vacancies. Presentations can be to a specific group and year of students or to all students. Careers and Employability can work with you to arrange and promote your event. Further details of our workshops can be found in our programme of events.
