Tony Carter
Tony was born 84 years ago in Yorkshire but moved to London as a teenager. After army service became an active trade unionist, serving at almost every level. On retirement he became coordinator of the Age Well campaign (health promotion for older people) where he came across pensioners' forums. His interest in ways in which pensioners can influence policy making continues - and includes the arts.
