During Keele Green Festival the ISF and the Sustainability Team will be supporting the launch of the new ‘Post Graduate Sustainability Network’.

This event is for PhD Students, Postdoctoral Researchers and Early Career Researchers. In addition, academics and professional services staff with an interest in Fellowships are also welcome to attend.

Keele is leading the way in the UK in putting renewable energy into action. Stoke on Trent is a geothermal hotspot for the UK with the city already drilling for heat.

The Hydrogen heating revolution is here - and it all started at Keele University with the HyDeploy project.    Sister project HyNet is the UK’s leading industrial decarbonisation cluster, integrating carbon capture and storage with production, distribution, storage and end use of hydrogen at scale.

The Institute for Sustainable Futures will open this one hour session on Thursday 25 March from 3pm to 4pm. The ERA team, together with colleagues from Keele, will explain how academics, student researchers, research and professional services staff can benefit from working with ERA.

Please join us for our final Institute for Sustainable Futures session of Keele Green Festival on Thursday 18th March at 2pm-3pm - Bedding into Bags: An Upcycling Project with Professor Clare Holdsworth from the School of Geography, Geology and the Environment. The session will explore the Bedding into Bags project and will include a Q&A.
