Student experience and support
All students, including online and apprentice learners, can access advice, guidance, and one to one support from their Student Experience and Support team, based within their academic School or Faculty.
Whether you need support with your studies, personal circumstances, or any challenges affecting your university experience, the Student Experience and Support team is here to help.
Each faculty has a dedicated Student Experience and Support team, with named officers who work closely with specific academic schools. This means you'll have access to advice and guidance from someone who understands your course area and wider student experience. Students studying on a Foundation Year will receive support from the Student Experience and Support Officer (SESO) linked to their course area.
As part of Student Services, we work closely with specialist teams including Disability Support and Inclusion, Financial Support, Counselling and Mental Health, Residence Life, and Chaplaincy. Our joined-up approach helps ensure you can access the right support as quickly and easily as possible.

Alternatively, during term time, you can visit our drop-in sessions at the Student Services Hub. Please note that drop-in sessions are not available during the summer vacation period, but appointments can still be booked using the links below.
At drop-in sessions, you will be seen by the Student Experience and Support Officer on duty, who may not be your dedicated officer. Drop-ins are intended for quick queries and general guidance. If you need more detailed or ongoing support, we recommend booking an appointment.
If you would prefer to get in touch another way, you can contact Student Services as usual. Emails sent to student.services@keele.ac.uk will be forwarded to your relevant Student Experience and Support Officer or referred to another appropriate service where needed.
If your course spans more than one academic school or faculty, you can access support through either team. We will make sure you are connected with the most appropriate support for your circumstances. Students studying on online postgraduate programmes (HEP courses) can also access support from the Student Success team at studentsuccess@online.keele.ac.uk.
