Institute for Global Health and Wellbeing showcase

We are really looking forward to welcoming you to our showcase of research from Institute for Global Health and Wellbeing. Global health is one of Keele University's strategic research areas. The global health research programme started in January 2017 and current global health projects are funded by GCRF, AHRC, MRC and NIHR. Our aim is to improve the health and wellbeing of the most vulnerable populations in resource poor settings. We work around non-communicable diseases and neglected tropical diseases in a wide range of Low and Middle Income Countries, with interdisciplinary research teams in the Philippines, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Brazil and Ethiopia.

The day will be split into 2 parts, the morning session will focus on showcasing the work of the institute and the afternoon session will be a networking event, giving you the chance to speak with members.
