Biography

I am PhD candidate in the School of Psychology at Keele University, sponsored by the Turkish Ministry of National Education. I completed my undergraduate studies at Istanbul University (BSc Psychology) in Turkey. I hold a Master’s degree in Social Psychology from the University of Surrey.

My PhD research examines how social identity processes and intergroup contact affect individuals' political behaviours and policy support toward minority group members. In doing so, I prefer to employ quantitative research designs and runs cross-cultural studies through online surveys and experiments. My other research interests are refugee integration processes, diversity, migration.
