Prunus 'Georges'

Awaiting Photograph.

Selected and grown by M. André Charlier at the Arboretum Rond Chêne in E. Belgium.

This is a seedling of the Tassel Cherry (Prunus litigiosa) - a Chinese species with very distinctive white pendant flowers with long stamens which emerge from the flower tube like tassels. The flowers of this hybrid are larger than its parent so it will be interesting to compare it with its parent (4001).

Location
