Biography

Lisa is a HCPC Registered Diagnostic Radiographer with over 17 years’ experience and a lecturer in Diagnostic Radiography within the School of Allied Health Professions at Keele University.

Lisa started her career in radiography in 2006 working as an Imaging Assistant, then in 2009, she qualified with a FdSc in Diagnostic Radiography (Assistant Practitioner).  Lisa then went on to graduate with a 2:1 Diagnostic Radiography BSc (hons) degree from the University of Salford in 2016.  In 2019, Lisa specialised in Breast Imaging gaining her mammography qualification from Nottingham Breast Institute.

Lisa has experience working as a Practice Educator Facilitator (PEF) within the NHS, this involved supporting students studying on programmes allied to health as well as supporting the multi-professional preceptorship programme.

Research and scholarship

Lisa has a keen interest in research and aims to become involved in this and publish within the near future.

Teaching

As well as teaching on the Diagnostic Radiography programme, Lisa is part of the clinical team at Keele University.
