Biography

Kaley Potts is a Lecturer in Radiography (Diagnostic Imaging) in the School of Allied Health Professions at Keele University. Kaley is new to academia and is excited to begin this next stage in her career at Keele University.

Kaley qualified from the City University of London in 2009 and has gained a great deal of practical experience working rotationally through plain film, CT, Fluoroscopy, interventional and Cardiology before progressing into Advanced Practice, Plain film reporting. 

Kaley gained her PG Certificate in Appendicular reporting (2015) and her PG Diploma in Chest and Abdominal reporting (2017) from Birmingham City University and has worked in two large NHS trusts in the Midlands as an Advanced Practice Radiographer. 

She is passionate about Radiographer role development with a keen interest in lean working and how radiographers can improve/change patient pathways.

Kaley is on the Society of Radiographers Expert Witness list and currently Reports plain films privately for one of the UK Leading Reporting companies. 

Research and scholarship

Kaley hopes to take part in research and publish in the near future.

Teaching

Kaley is new to academia and is awaiting to start the PG Certificate in Higher Education Practice.
