Biography

After qualifying from the University of Liverpool in 2013, Amy completed junior rotations in trauma and orthopaedics, respiratory medicine, intensive care, and neuro-rehabilitation. She then undertook a fixed term position at the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Hospital in Oswestry where she discovered her passion for Spinal Injuries and went on to work as a Band 6 Senior Physiotherapist within this area and continues to work clinically in this role on a part-time basis.

Amy has been a clinical educator for many Keele students during her career. In November 2020 Amy joined the practice experience team at Keele University on a secondment basis to pursue her passion in supporting and educating students in higher education. Amy joined the practice experience team permanently in September 2021 as a Practice experience support tutor.

Amy is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and ACPIN (The Association of Chartered Physiotherapists Interested in Neurology). She is registered with the Health and Care Profession Council (HCPC).
