The SDG Teach In

The Sustainable Development Goal Teach In is a campaign to put the UN SDGs, and sustainability, at the heart of all stages of education and across all disciplines. The annual campaign calls for educators to include the SDGs within their teaching, learning and assessment during the campaign and beyond. Students are welcomed to encourage their educators to embed sustainability into the teaching too.

Why not 'Green Week'?

Green Week does not reflect how Keele would like to share sustainability, as 'sustainability' is more than just a week! Plus, the month of March provides us time to link in with other campaigns for example; the SOS UK SDG Teach In (March), Student Money Week (4th March), International Women's Day (8th), International Day of Happiness (20th), Food Waste Action Week (18th-24th March), Earth Hour (23rd March).

What is next?

Look out for Earth Day celebrations taking place on the weekend of the 22nd April (20th, 21st and 22nd April 2024). Celebrate Earth Day on campus: during the weekend there will be a range of creative activities, walks and experiences - more information coming soon.
