Research

The recent Research Excellence Framework (REF2021) confirmed Keele's position as a leading university for research of world-class quality and international excellence. 80% of the research conducted at Keele was classified as world-leading or internationally excellent, with top-rated research in all three faculties.

The Faculty has a vibrant research community of over 200 academic staff and over 200 postgraduate research students, working within, and in some cases across, dedicated Research Centres, Institutes and Schools. We are proud of our diverse and supportive research culture and hope you will find interesting information about our current research staff and students, a showcase of the best of our research projects, publications and other outcomes, and examples of how we put our knowledge to work for the benefit of society.
