My background is in intensive care and acute care. I specialised in respiratory medicine and have a keen interest in the heatlh psychology of chronic disease

My PhD looked at the psychosocial factors related to increased exacerbations of severe asthma and the effect of the structured nurse led clinic had on the morbidity of patient with severe asthma. My research areas focus around respiratory medicine and other chronic diseases and the psychosocial factors invovled in these conditions.
