Forensic Geoscience to Aid the Police & Community

Hello, I'm Dr. Jamie Pringle, a senior lecturer at Keele University. I lead a multi-disciplinary research team of forensic geoscientists committed to supporting the police force and the wider community. Our focus is on providing assistance and advice for land and water searches, both in the UK and internationally.

Our past efforts have involved searching for active missing persons, aiding in body recovery, and assisting with unsolved cold cases. Additionally, our expertise extends to applications such as weapon searches, graveyard and archaeology surveys, environmental contamination, and investigations into wildlife and environmental crimes.
