In this video our students and staff share their personal experiences of studying at Keele. This video was filmed in May 2023 – experiences and opportunities may vary for future years.

I chose to study at Keele University because I love the campus feel, with everything within walking distance. I also appreciate the sense of community. Our school covers geography, geology, and environmental subjects, which focus on our world, its biodiversity, and the environmental processes intertwined with our society.

Learning is a social process, and we aim to develop in you the professional abilities needed to make a positive impact. Keele University is an excellent place to study geography, geology, and environmental subjects. Firstly, we have an expansive campus spanning 600 acres, ideal for exploration, learning, research, and skill development. Additionally, we have our renewable energy site.

One of my favorite aspects of studying within GGE (Geography, Geology, and Environment) is the atmosphere. You can easily approach staff and students for both academic and personal support in this friendly environment.

Our department boasts a robust careers department, offering various internships and placements directly related to our course specialties. I personally did one in my second year, and it played a pivotal role in shaping my post-university career.

In GGE, students often collect data in the field and can quickly transition to our state-of-the-art central science laboratories. Sustainability is a core focus of the university, permeating our degree programs, student organizations, and graduate employability. This awareness of global challenges is crucial for our students as they graduate.

In conclusion, I genuinely appreciate the campus feel and the beautiful grounds within walking distance. I wholeheartedly recommend Keele to anyone looking to develop their learning and prepare for the future. It's an excellent place to be.
