Clinical simulation helps our students to develop their experience, confidence and skills. Take a look at our Radiography simulation equipment including our new portable x-ray machine.

Introducing our new Fuji portable X-ray machine – a recent addition to our simulation equipment at Keel in the Radiography Department. This portable X-ray machine plays a crucial role in teaching students and simulating patient positioning for examinations that mimic the high-pressure clinical environment.

We specifically focus on emulating scenarios found in critical care and resuscitation areas. Our goal is to enhance the student experience by providing realistic simulations and, in turn, strengthen student resilience. By encouraging active patient positioning in these secure settings, we can facilitate peer reviews and clinical debriefs. This approach allows students to actively learn and benefit from each other in a safe and controlled environment.
