Project

In her project, Dr Burke explores the non-governmental organization (NGOs) and their participation and integration into international forums and institutions in a world that is increasingly critical of their involvement in global politics. Dr Burke will examine whether factors such as where the NGOs are trying to become a member, the structure of NGOs, financial conditions, and organizational membership might be decisive in determining whether they are accepted into international forums and institutions and how well the NGOs are able integrate into them.
