We are a new school with a long and distinguished research history at Keele, dating back to the mid 20th Century. Many distinguished scholars have worked in each of our subjects and our current research continues to follow their example with prize-winning outputs and world-leading impact. In particular, we maintain our commitment to interdisciplinary work based on joint research projects with colleagues working in various areas of the humanities and the natural and social sciences.

Our research is mainly organised around the research clusters below and you can find out more about our individual research by visiting the individual subject or people pages.
