Keele University students are being offered a range of free activities to help them stay calm, keep healthy and achieve their potential during the exam period as part of a university wide campaign called Exam Plus.

Some of the highlights include free massages, yoga and boxing sessions as well as brain food to help them survive what can be a stressful time of year. This year we even have a puppy room where students will be able to chill out and get a cuddle with some adorable puppies courtesy of the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association. They have offered up this opportunity not only for the students but it also helps the dogs socialise as part of their training.

Free fruit and water is also provided in the Library to help students stay hydrated and healthy and help them with their concentration. A free Library safety bus is also available to take students home after late night revision sessions.

The support isn’t just confined to the Library. We have also introduced ‘Text a Banana’. In return for texting in their Exam Stress Busting Tip, students are delivered a free banana to wherever they are on campus!

These freebies and activities will be offered throughout the winter exam period, which runs until January 22.

Students are loving this initiative with one saying ‘Really love Exam Plus. It shows just how much the university cares.’
