Postgraduate Virtual Event

Posted on 12 May 2015

Students are being encouraged to attend Keele's first Postgraduate Virtual Event on June 2nd, which can be registered for now (www.keele.ac.uk/pgvirtualopenday). It will enable students to ask course specific questions as well as access a range of live and pre-posted content to help inform them in their decision to study at Keele.

The University has announced that 70 new Postgraduate Support Schemes (PSS) of £10,000 each have been made available for postgraduate students - the offer closes on May 31st.

The scholarships have been made available to encourage progression by under-represented students into taught postgraduate education. The scholarships, supported jointly by the Higher Education Funding Council for England and the University, will be made available to UK and EU students who meet certain eligibility criteria and are due to start their postgraduate studies in autumn 2015.

"It's fantastic that we are bolstering our Postgraduate offer by supporting the PSS to help reduce barriers of entry to any student from an under-represented background wanting to further their studies at Keele. The virtual event is also an exciting opportunity to bring academic and support staff together for students to help provide them with support in making the decision to further their studies."
