Vanessa

I choose MCC because it's quite a diverse course. I thought I'd be able to get a lot from it and practice my skills, polish them and acquire different ones. It also allows me to interact with different people, as I knew that a wide range of people would get on the course so I was looking forward to interacting with new people.

The teaching staff, tutors and technicians are quite flexible and are always willing to take their time and sit down with you to help you and guide you through your work, advice you when you need advise, correct you when you are wrong. I think the best part of it is that they offer me the guidance that I need and help me according to my abilities and skills, which I think is quite important.

The resources for the media modules are easily accessible and readily available and the staff are always helpful in showing you how to use them.

Media, Communications and Culture has helped me grow as an individual and over the past three years I have been able to acquire more advanced creative skills. My self-confidence has also enhanced so that I am able to develop an idea out of nothing, make it my own, and produce something out of it. This is something that I would not have been able to do without joining the course.
