The Imposter Syndrome remedy: how to stop feeling like a fraud

Keele lecture series

Estacio Emee 200x200 Do you sometimes feel like a fraud, despite years of training and experience? Do you feel like it's pure luck that people can’t see your incompetence? Are you worried that one day, people will find out that you’re really just faking it? If you answered a resounding “yes” to these questions, then you might be experiencing Imposter Syndrome.

Imposter Syndrome is a persistent feeling of self-doubt, incompetence, and inadequacy, despite evidence that reflects otherwise.

In this public lecture, Dr E V Estacio will discuss why some people experience Imposter Syndrome and how individuals and communities can work together to remedy it.
