Research visit to the University of Nairobi

Whilst visiting Kenya to examine a PhD thesis for the Kenya Medical Research Institute-Wellcome Trust Programme, Professor Paul Horrocks was invited to present a research seminar at the Chiromo Campus of the University of Nairobi.

Paul’s presentation addressed his team’s work on the pharmacodynamics of antimalarial drug action.  Whilst visiting the Chiromo Campus, Paul discussed collaborative research and postgraduate training opportunities for both staff and students between their College of Biological and Physical Sciences and the Faculties of Health and Natural Sciences at Keele University.
