The special issue, published in December 2014, included 20 articles on topics including the state of Medical Entomology in the USA, the tsetse fly vector of sleeping sickness, the sand fly vector of leishmaniasis, the Culicine mosquitoes that are vectors of arboviruses and the Anopheline mosquitoes that spread malaria.  Many of these topics are under active study by CAEP biologists.  A full table of contents can be accessed from the journal website.
