Breakfast Networking Meeting

How can universities help businesses to fill skills gaps?

Join us for breakfast to discover how your business can access talented Keele students and graduates. We can facilitate a range of student-employer collaborations, including apprenticeships, internships and placements, as well as advertising roles through our Careers and Employability service.

During the event you’ll hear from other businesses who have benefitted from working with Keele students and graduates, as well as the opportunity to discuss your specific needs and how we can support them.

Guest speakers include:

  • Lisa McWilliams, Head of Careers and Employability at Keele, will give an overview of how we can connect employers and their vacancies with our students and graduates.
  • Professor Samir Dani, Deputy Director of our Digital Society Institute and Professor of Operations and Supply Chain Management at Keele Business School, will run through the different ways businesses can engage with Keele University students.
  • Winners of the 2022 Breaking the Mould Cultivating Talent Award, Concentric Solutions have hosted a number of Keele Maths and Computing postgraduate students for their placement activity. Managing Director, David Watson will join us to discuss this successful collaboration and how Keele graduates are now working in the business.
  • Apprenticeships provide a great opportunity to upskill your existing workforce, with Keele offering a range of programmes based around the needs of employers. Huw Morgan, Business Engagement Manager at Keele, will be on-hand to provide advice on how to utilise the apprenticeship levy, as well as guidance on compliance and the contracting process.
  • Amber Mottershead from the charity AED Donate will speak about the Keele graduates they have engaged with at their organisation.

With a complimentary breakfast and chance to network, reserve your free place
