On Ageing Symposium
On 2nd October 2010, Mim Bernard gave a keynote address at the On Ageing symposium at the Young Vic Theatre in London. On Ageing is a theatre production that ‘creates a portrait of a lifetime’, performed by children for an adult audience.
The symposium, which followed a matinee performance of On Ageing, explored the collaboration between scientists and artists that led to the production, and also provided an insight into academic research on age and ageing.
Mim spoke alongside David Harradine (director, On Ageing), Sam Butler (director, On Ageing) and Prof Maria Evandrou (Southampton University Centre for Research on Ageing).
