Keele University Art Collection - Celebration and Q&A

at The Brampton Museum

You’re Invited! 

Join ArtsKeele on Thursday 13 June, from 6pm, at The Brampton Museum and Art Gallery, to celebrate Keele University’s Art Collection, as part of the 75th anniversary of Keele University.

The exhibition features a range of artworks selected to portray the breadth of the art collection at Keele University. It includes work from different periods, in various mediums, traditional and contemporary in style, varying notoriety, a mix of gender both in terms of creator and muse, an array of subject matter and themes, and work that has a significant connection to Keele and the local area. 

This evening will include the opportunity to view the exhibition, a formal handover of a recently acquired artwork, and a Q & A session with art historian Peter Davies, Katey Goodwin from ArtUK who host a portion of the collection on their public catalogue, David Amigoni from Keele University and ArtsKeele. There will be a complimentary drink on arrival and music with TreeKatz. 

6pm - Arrival, drinks, music and viewing the artwork on display.
7pm - Q & A session
8pm - End

Come and explore the collection through this tantalising visual sample, stimulating discussion and wonderful company!
