Elleanor will join us to discuss her ongoing journey and experience of the music industry. Sharing insights into building a career and profile in the music industry and findings relating to inclusivity in music gained in her work at NMC recordings.

Eleanor (Ellie) Wilson is NMC's Creative Director, responsible for artistic strategy and overseeing the management of the record label, including sales and marketing. She has been part of the NMC team for 16 years, having previously worked at Hyperion Records. She sits on the BPI Classical Committee and is a regular speaker at industry events and universities. She is also a composer and violinist.

NMC Recordings is an award-winning charity and label dedicated to recording and releasing contemporary classical music by composers from Britain and Ireland. Its mission is to champion and disseminate new music and support composers of all generations whose work would not otherwise be available in recorded form.

The 2023 Keele Music Forum is a series of events including cutting-edge electronic music performances (featuring MIDI pipe organs and dystopian soundscapes) and masterclasses given by music industry professionals on building careers in the music industry and inclusivity in music.
