Vigilance State is a darkwave duo creating a brutal dystopian analogue soundscape straight from the northern industrial heartland. A synthesis of hypnotic vocals, mournful minimalism and ruthless bass, inspired by modern legend and ancient lore.

Vigilance State, AKA Greig Normaal and AP Usuaal, pledge to unleash transmissions both live and recorded in order to provoke uncontrollable rhythmic body movement and profound cognition through the power of electronics.

The 2023 Keele Music Forum is a series of events including cutting-edge electronic music performances (featuring MIDI pipe organs and dystopian soundscapes) and masterclasses given by music industry professionals on building careers in the music industry and inclusivity in music.
